The Global Institute For Impactful Change (GIIC) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to fairness and transparency. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds or credit vouchers may be issued for registrations, payments, or fees made through our website thegiic.org.

1. General Refund Principles

  • Refunds may be issued in the form of a GIIC Credit Voucher (GCV), which can be used for future GIIC events, registrations, or services.

  • Cash refunds are not guaranteed in all cases and depend on registration type and cancellation timeline.

  • GIIC reserves full discretion over approval or denial of refund/credit requests.

2. Refund Eligibility Based on Registration Type

3. GIIC Credit Voucher (GCV) Terms

  • How to Request: Email contact@thegiic.com with your full name, registration/order ID, and reason for the request.

  • Validity: GCVs are valid for 12 months from the issuance date.

  • Non-Transferable: Vouchers cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash.

  • Partial Usage: Remaining balance can be used later (within validity).

4. Cancellation & Refund Timeline

Refund or credit eligibility is based on how early cancellation is requested:
  • 45 days or more before event/start date100% refund (cash or GCV)

  • 30–44 days before50% refund (cash or GCV)

  • 15–29 days before25% refund (cash or GCV)

  • Less than 15 days before, or no-showNo refund or credit

5. Non-Refundable Fees & Services

The following are non-refundable:
  • Administrative charges, documentation fees, or application fees

  • Visa support letters or invitation letter fees (if any)

  • Discounted or promotional-rate registrations

  • Digital content or downloadable resources once accessed

6. Exceptional Circumstances / Force Majeure

In extraordinary cases (natural disasters, political unrest, illness outbreaks, etc.), GIIC may review refund requests individually and provide partial/full refunds or credit vouchers at its discretion.

7. Refund / Credit Request Process

To request a refund or GIIC Credit Voucher:
  1. Email contact@thegiic.com with subject:
    “Refund Request – [Event/Registration ID]”

  2. Include:

    • Full Name

    • Order or Registration ID

    • Date of payment

    • Reason for the request

  3. GIIC will review and respond with approval, denial, or a request for more details.

Processing Time: Refunds or credits (if approved) will be processed within 7–14 business days.

8. Agreement

By submitting any payment or registration on thegiic.org, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
GIIC may update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date.
